It's weird, on the site all the new release Blu-rays are a tenner or less seemingly. Ordered Hot Rod & My Name Is Bruce for less than €20! Hope they honour the pricing....

    Thanks mgsrocks.

Hmm something strange about the Predator 2 release, according to High Def Digest, Predator 2 is being released on Bluray in June 2009:
    http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/2206/predator2.html and
    http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/show/Fox/Disc_Announcements/Fox_to_Unleash_Predator_2_on_Blu_this_May/2578

So is the Predator 2 on Bluray here (http://www.cdwow.ie/blu-ray/Predator-2/product/view/3832532) no more than an upscaled DVD released on Bluray that they need to sell before the proper BD release comes out?

Whats the Legal Right when you pay via Paypal, Surely they have to Honor it as its like a Cash Sale?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,659 ✭✭✭PowerHouseDan

That's a U.S. release date. It's been out here for a while now.

Doubt it, i think your credit card comapny gives you insurance on things you buy online, so if it doesnt arrive you can go to them. Could be wrong about that though...?

Cant be used on stuff from their special offers (anything with an greyed out "was"price ) from bargain basement etc. Can be used on most new releases tho. I used it on quantum of solace.

I also just ordered a shedload, but I really don't see them honouring them. Saved the pages in case they fob us off with dvds.

The last thing I bought from cd-wow (Die Hard Quadrilogy blu-rays last year) were Aussie blu-rays - same region as us - but Aussie blu-rays aren't this cheap!

have a cart of €135 ready to go to checkout, it just seems too good to be true. do cdwow charge you straight away before items are shipped?
dont want to be charged €135 for dvd's!!

anyone get a confirmation or fire a query email at cdwow?

Does'nt mention bluray on the confirmation email, but when I logged back in to cdwow it lists all my order and when you click on the link for each movie, they are all bluray.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,024 ✭✭✭✭ShaneU

    Heroes season 1 & 2 for €31.19?

Even all their chart blurays are ridiculously cheap, must be a pricing error.

When you click on the genres in the bluray section it moves to the dvd section, whole site is FUBAR

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,659 ✭✭✭PowerHouseDan

Well i have already PAID Cdwow for items via Paypal so if they canx it and Refund i will be following it up.They've done me over enough in the past with crap service.

What are the different status to the orders?

Mine's currently on "Pending Dispatch". Is that the first step?
