Never purchased anything of them personally but heard good reports from other people.

The chap that owns/runs them does be on this from time to time think his name is Mick....

just had a look at the site there - 27.5-50kg set of dumbells (+€2,510.00)

why do they cost that much, it's just lumps of iron which isn't expensive ?

A ferrari is just a lump of steel ;)

Seriously steel has gone up a lot in price in recent years, if you can find cheaper of similar quality then post it up.

Argos were nearly always the cheapest before irish lifting. 4x5kg plates are now €41.79 in argos. I remember getting mine for ~€20-22 a few years ago.

Thanks for the good reports lads (and ladies?). Thankfully the price of iron is on the way down, the Chinese negotiate on the price of iron in early April so I am holding off ordering till they get a discount sorted. I should be able to do plates for 1.50/kg, kettlebells for 2.50 and also dumbells for 2.50/kg (the 27.5-50kg set would be 1740). If the prices keep coming down I will pass on the savings, 1 euro a kg for plates like last year might be possible again.

The 27.5-50kg set is nearly 800kg of iron, if it is just for a home gym you would be better getting dumbell handles and plates or even going up in 5kg jumps and getting some platemates. That set is really meant for a busy club where more than one set will be in use.

Seems to be some good bargains on uk websites selling weights/bars due to weak sterling etc. Dont know if it would be worthwhile getting it shipped over here though.

    HI,
What kind of money are the weighted vests going for? I should've asked if you stock them first.......
