    What's stopping you?

Just ask if you can have a free pass before you decide.

Where in cork do you live/work??

No point in giving advice on gyms in midleton if you live in macroom.

I go to Source Health and Fitness, and I think it is very good (it may be out of ur way tho')

A couple of people that I know go to Leeside Lesure, and they say that it is good also, but I have never been in there.

Go for a 3 month membership (if u can get it) and u can move on if you don't like it.

Don't use 'I can't decide' as a reason not to get fit.

Dont want to sound rude but u really need to give some more info if you want some valid responses.

You can lose weight by eating less or just by eating better and increasing cardio. This can all be done without joining a gym.

If you just want to do weights in the gym then any gym should be able to accomidate you. Some are of course better than others.

Do you want to go to a gym with a pool, lots of cardio, lots of weight machines, lots of freeweights, lots of instructors??????

Fitnessworx in donnybrook is excellent for instruction and they have a great staff there who are increadibly helpful. Lots of weights and cardio but no pool. Cheap 2.

Rochestown park has a pool a good gym and good cardio.Slightly pricy.

Mardyke is an excellent gym but expensive. They have lots of everything and a pool.

Leisureworld Bishopstown has a 2 pools, lots of cardio and a small enough gym. Cany remenber price. They also have a steamroom and sauna.

I think theres somewhere in mahon with a pool and gym that is supposed to be pretty good and cheap.

Give more info on what you are looking for and where and you will get more relavent info back.

Also if you want to lose weight theres plenty of threads on this forum about the importance of diet and eating the right foods. Im currently trying to lose the spare tyre and find these threads excellent and im starting to see some positive signs/reductions.
