So what do people listen to here when they are doing whatever gym/exercise routines you do.

For me has to be - Dave pearce trance anthems 2008 - great cd, 60 songs. really good for running. the 2009 album is just out now too.

Also Chicane/Some Tiesto. Really dance/trance music that works its way to a 'high' so to speak as the song progresses. Find those songs great for a fartlek session. Instead of sprinting from poiint A to B ill keep going untill the music slows down.

Any southern hip hop, particularly "Crunk" type tracks. Youtube lil jon if you don't know what i'm talking about. Its not exactlty high brow lyrics or anything but its amazing how a chorus about fighting in the middle of a dance floor can get the adrenaline pumping for some deadlifts, particularly if i'm feeling tired.

    P.s. Its spelt 'music'.

i usually listen to a hard techno or tribal mixes when i bench, i que up a to where it builds up and then when the beat kicks back in i do my set, i only listen when im doing a movement, between sets i will take off the headphones.

im not into hard rock or hip hop when im wroking out, i need a fast aggressive beat

A bit of Rage Against The Machine is good to help get the blood pumping!

I listen to real hardcore stuff when I taining, some of it I wouldn't usually listen to at home. I honestly train better with the tunes, on occassion when I have forgotten my Ipod I found I can lift as much or run as long!

    Static-X
    Coal Chamber
    Nine Inch Nails
    Korn
    Slip Knot

It's just a big evil-disco on my Ipod!:)

I generally don't listen to music in the gym but if I do there's always some Pantera in there, tracks like Mouth For War and Strength Beyond Strength really make me want to go the extra bit.
