Not responding to texts?

Doesn't bother me. If they don't reply, they don't reply. That said, i've often just not replied to a text, simply because i've run out of things to say. Don't need to hang onto every poxy word. I've often left it over a week before replying/new text.

Remember that you are not obliged to reply to them immediately (or at all) either. Take what i call a "time out" when you hear something nasty from them. They are just electronic letter at the end of the day. It not the end of the world if you dont reply

If its urgent, they will call you. Long story short, text messaging is something you cannot really take seriously. The only reason i still use it at all is the free texts deals im on. Even then, if its important, i use the phone

The obsession with texting in Ireland is bizarre. I was at a concert last week and the girl beside me spent the whole time sending text messages. How can you enjoy a concert / game etc if you spend the whole time in "conversation" with someone who isn't there. My general rule is that if I am in company I dont check or send text messages.

I'm bad on the texting back too! I don't really mind one or two but when people try to have a full blown conversation with you via text *ignore* call me ffs!

I hate answering texts. Unless it's important will usually text someone back if and when I feel like it a few hours/days later.. Hate the way people get so antsy wondering why you aren't anwering their texts. Terrible way to communicate to be honest.
