I thought I saw someone advertise on boards, ford garage maybe?
If you google car servicing in Ireland you will get some in the sponsored ads.

motorpoint in clondalkin for instance, I am sure I saw one recently in some Nissan dealers.

What's included in the service? .........................................depends on the car itself to be honest but we will look at everything for you and give you a report of everything.
Oil,Oil filter, air filter, wipers, lights, levels, rotate wheels and adjust handbrake.
If diesel will be a fuel filter change also.

Ive to go citywest now but will answer anymore questions when i get back online.

all the stuff you listed, is that just checks? If my car needed new wipers would they be replaced as part of the service or would it be added on to the cost?

Is it a service report or an actual service?

    Okay, they do

There should be a sticky for car service bargains. With people looking at prices again i reckon this is a major area where someone doing a good job for a decent price will sweep up loads of business

yes all cars catered for. wipers most definatly would be looked at and canged if needed on a regular service.
depending on the kind off smell and the amount of times needed to wash and still then Jimmy my Operations Manager would need to see it 1st hand.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 333 ✭✭Zilog

    Hi Dave M.,

Do you operate on Saturday's? Would be interested if so, as have to drive daily to work.

    Thanks,

I'll be up for a full valet in the next few weeks. Can you sort suede seats front/rear like these?

They're quite grubby at the moment.

    Cheers

Yes Dave, very much interested in this offer. It would be great if you can collect the car, service it and drop it back after servicing from the nearby locations like Parkwest, Clondalkin, Inchcore etc.

BTW how much do you charge for wheel alignment and headlight alignment? Is the headlight alignment included in the normal service?

    Cheers
    G

i doubt headlight alignment would be included as its approx €40 to get done on it own in most places! but you never know! :D

Quick question for pppspecial - have you a method for stamping the service book of cars and providing an invoice? intrested in this as once the car is beyond warrenty etc its more economical to use an insependant mechanic but would be still nice to keep a recorded history. thanks.

Dave do you change the spark plugs with this service? I just got new wipers so they're fine but I'm pretty sure the sparks need to be changed. My car is due an NCT this month so I was thinking of getting it serviced first and €160 sounds like a good deal including the vallet.

I think lillis o donnel ford do services on fords for €69 and €99 on all other cars

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 446 ✭✭pppspecial

we would be able to pick cars up from people from parkwest, kylemore macdonalds and inchicore luas stop in pub car park.
An invoice will be issued with every transaction and a proper garage stamp to keep your service historys going.
spark plugs will be included the regular service.

Yesterday got full service on my Toyota Yaris at LN Motors in Portmarnock. They give 5% discount if you do it online www.lnmotors.ie or even if you ask for the discount on phone also. Did anyone got it from them?

hi all sorry for not replying and also mods for not getting in contact to run this as an ad in the banner section. It will be by next weekend.I would love this to be a day job but currently its drop it in monday get back tuesday before lunch. Most cars are fully dried at this stage after upholstry clean. So some jobs are taking more time than others as each car is different.
ok we have been inundated with calls to avail of this service.....Remember with the 20% discount for boards members only its gonna be pretty hard to beat anywhere.
Currently im out the door till wednesday May the 7th so apologies to people in advance for the wait.
