Carb cravings.

Between work and college, I don't get enough time to make my own dinner, so I've often stacking up on carbs during the day. I'm trying to cut them down, so I can cut about 10KG along with regular exercise.

I find that I'm eating way too many breads, between breadrolls in work, to sandwiches and so forth. When I come home, I cook chicken and broccoli, but my cravings for carbs have become so high lately, I just end up making a sandwich.. I don't even feel full, unless it's in heavy in carbs.

    Any advice?

I found that for me the best thing was to cut bread out of my diet most of the time. This meant salads at work instead of sandwiches (they're mostly the same ingredients), wraps if that seems to drastic . I also started buying better quality bread and freezing it - just using a slice or two when I wanted it and not eating toast to use the loaf up before it went off.

i was the same OP in college.id get a roll in spar at lunch and then have potatoes/chips with dinner and toast at night.theres no quick solution, i found i nearly had to wean myself off, especially the spar rolls.i changed from rolls to bagels/baps and white toast became brown toast.little changes until eventually i didnt crave the rolls.i still love my spuds though.
i swear by bagels, yes theyre not perfect and the fillings will have a big impact, but they fill me up and im currently losing weight so all good so far.

Cheers lads. It's so hard to manage a diet with college & work. I'm rarely ever at home.
