I just stuck a bet on there with an online bookie and was started wondering how it there system for taking bets and confirming results/paying out works. Does anyone know what the story is, do they have an office full of staff manually logging when a team wins a football match, a guys wins a race/ etc... or is there some…

I just stuck a bet on there with an online bookie and was started wondering how it there system for taking bets and confirming results/paying out works. Are they getting a feed from somewhere else?

as far as i know the results are settled manualy, and this feeds down to the respective bets placed...
