Hi I was wondering would anyone have any advice for me. I want to tone up and lose around 1.5 to 2 stone in the next two months. I can't afford to join a gym (damn recession:mad:) so I was wondering what would be good to do and how often should I be exercising. Anthing I can do at home or in the local park would be ideal. Any tips greatly appreciated!

If you have a bike you could go cycling, jogging or walking. Could do push ups, pull ups. Loads of things you could do really.

I'm in the exact same position, luckily my friend was throwing out a perfectly good bike so i took it (made a few adjustments) and am finding it good so far its probably one of the easiest was to incorporate exercise into everyday activities and its great for those long summer days which are coming:cool:

you will need a chinup bar for that. Cabinteely park near me has chinup bars, dips stations etc. Also if you just keep an eye out there might be places to do chinups or dips on. 2 stone in 8 weeks is 3.5lb per week, 1-2lb per week is the usual figure recommended for fat loss.
