Stupid 2fm Breakfast show did a thing where they "forgot" their Mikes were live and had an argument on air. It was a gammy way of announcing that we're in for a second dose of the godawful HomeRun rubbish.

Hopefully that was an April Fool as well

I thought 2fm's april fools joke was them ringing the child who then got into her mam's car and tried to drive it.

And I thought it was the woman who won Jim Jims Dad on the first day of the competition.

I reckon at least 1 of two stories on Today FM was an April Fools.

    1. The story about Paul McLoon doing his show on Thursday night nude and being painted while doing it, and then all the other Presenters on Friday being painted nude as well, all for an 'unnamed charity'

    2. The story that Dublin Airport is to be renamed after Gay Byrne. At least, I hope that's a joke!

98fm news said that the Gov. want to make people get a license for all pets the way we have one for dogs,to 'claw' back some cash, sounded like a joke to me.

although nothing would surprise me with that lot.

This is a definite one, just on TodayFM:

    http://www.trackwithmobile.com

Check the source code of the page and it's quite obvious its been thrown together yet when he was told that people were finding his site was down he said to Darcy "that's the cost of fame I guess".

Apparently you can track anyone through their mobile to 1.4 mtrs..

    Get a life! :pac:

+1 on the Metro front page that said Obama was on the piss in Offaly last night. Loved the bit where it said he snubbed Cowen by not telling him he was going to show up and that he downed a few pints and left with a pack of Monster Munch !!!

+1 on the Irish Times story about electronic tagging for tax exiles, oh if only it were true :pac:

They did all of these plus a couple more, including a quiz at 6.20 where the caller got all the answers wrong and was told they were all right and Colm got all the questions right and was told they were wrong.

Way too much IMO! If they'd left it at just one it would have been way more believable. I liked where they left the mics on but it was a bit far-fetched as they were talking normally again after the "argument." Could have done it a lot better, bitching about their RTE colleagues or something like that.
