I was just wondering how many guys out there would consider donating sperm if a sperm bank opened in Ireland?

..and if you did, would you prefer to remain anonymous or would you allow any children born to have the option of contacting you when they are 18 years old?

Actually I don't work for any sperm lobbysist/ journal. Its a simple fact that sperm donors are in huge demand and Ireland is one of the few countries where no one has set up a sperm bank yet.

My instinct says YES, but when I think about it I'm not so sure... I wouldn't want to play a part in knocking up any dopey f*cker, if I was going to father a child I would like to think that the mother would be in some way intelligent, competent, capable. What's the screening process like if a woman wants to be impregnated in one of these places? I mean do social workers interview them, find out if they are gainfully employed, in a relationship, or whatever? Or can you just go in and ask for some semen?
