Water Intake

For the last few months I've been very concious of drinking at least 2l of water a day. I have a bottle in work i just fill every morning:)

Obviously when doing any exercise (climbing, hiking, rower) my intake increases.

Over the last couple of weeks I've started to notice that even on days where I'm doing no exercise I tend to still feel like the 2l is no longer enough (even though it's all coming out the other end regulalry enough:D). Drinking more is no problem but tends to mean I end up waking up at about 5 in the morning about to explode.

I've put on a reasonable amount of muscle recently (with all the climbing i've been doing) and lost some fat too, is it possible the extra muscle "wanting" the water now that my body is used to a constant high(er) intake?

Sorry if this appears a bit rambling...
