whats the difference with steamroom and sauna

    hey guys,
    was in the gym yesterday chilling in jaquzzi beside both of these rooms an was wondering wat actually are the benefits of these besides maybe sweating abit more?? and what are the difference in benefits of each of them?? is one better than the other or wat? i always find steamroom to be alot hotter myself

    I think the sauna is actually hotter, but the steamroom seems hotter because it's wet heat. The sauna is dry heat. Ya, I think the only advantage is that it makes you sweat and it's nice. The steamroom is savage for a hangover.

    Sauna is dry heat, and steam room is wet. Heard a lot of talk about the advantages of one over the other, but I am not convinced that it was anything but opinion, and not necessarily factual. It's probably just a personal preference when you have a choice.

    I tend to go for a few minutes in both.

    The heat is lovely in each, feels like a nice reward after a good work out.

    I suppose they are helping sweat out some more of the badness hence the hangover cure properties.

    As long as you hit the cold shower after.
