    Hi all,

I've just joined a gym, and it would be a major understatement to say that I'm not into my fitness.

But I really want to lose weight and tone up so I've taken the plunge.

Can you advise me on what's the best to do if I give myself 45 minutes in the gym? I was thinking:

    15 mins - treadmill
    15 mins - rowing
    15 mins - stepper thing.

I know I'm probably being too simplistic but I really don't want to use about a million machines at 5 mins each my head would be wrecked and I wouldn't go. I need something nice and simple - max about 5 machines in 45 mins.

    Any suggestions? Please help!!

you will prob get much better advice re weights vs cardio from other posters but cardio is my main vice so If you were going to spend 45 mins on cardio I would advise doing it on ONE machine and use different machines on different days so 45 mins stepping on Mon, then next visit do 45 mins on treadmill etc .. Jumping between machines is a disaster unless your up to speed with circuit training and or HIIT..
