    cracked.com (carries safe for work ratings) has articles along the lines of '6 insane ideas for space travel(that might actually work)' or '7 great historical figures (and why you should hate them)' etc., etc., etc.,

    also, if its humour you're after, i may be stating the obvious but its hard to beat satirical newspapers theonion.org, and to a lesser extent dailymash.co.uk
