Never took any of these before but just trying the Nutrition X Mass X one and it's pretty damn tasty I must say. What are people's thoughts on these? Considering I eat 5-6 times a day, is it acceptable to have one of these per day? I know whole foods are the way to go but I'm looking at the convenience side of it all.

Well if you don't manage 5-6 meals a day and/or can't meet your nutritional needs, then use it for meal replacement. From what I've seen of most MR shakes is that they tend to cost quite a lot, with very little servings! What brand do you use?

Using Mass X at the moment which is actually a weight gainer but it's pretty much all the same, isn't it.

I thought meal replacement was a bit different to weight gainer shakes? For example you can get 'diet' meal replacement supplements.

I use Progain(I know, I know) before I go to bed, I wouldn't really consider it a meal replacement though

Maybe he didn't "know" when he bought it. May as well use it up.

MRPs usuaully have an equal enough carb-protein ratio, while weight gainers have a 2-1 ration (eg 100g carbs, 50g protein)
