I can guess by the guarantees the numbers you are hoping/expecting. Is there much traffic for poker nightly? Is there a full cash table each night?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,881 ✭✭✭bohsman

Cash games have been great, 2 per night on Friday, Saturday and Sunday with plenty of new players coming in as others left. Id say there will be some overlays in the tournaments till word spreads.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,406 ✭✭✭All_in_Flynn

Hopefully this can get running and get numbers as its only 5 mins away from me. Was in there last night and its a nice place.

Is there any chance a cash game would be running tonight? The thoughts of driving into town are tilting!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,881 ✭✭✭bohsman

There wont be any poker staff in there tonight so unlikely to get a game going. If it takes off Im sure itll be expanded to more nights.

    Hi Luke,

What is happening, regarding satellites for the Irish Open? Did this event not go well last Sunday?

I had planned on going to this event, this Sunday, but you seem to have changed the schedule.

Let me know if you will run some more satellites.

    Regards
    Tony

If you are going to change the starting chips, blind levels timeframes, rebuy chips & topup chips then would you please post this in advance of the tournament so people can decide if they want to play with the new structure.

Can I second this. I played the game last saturday night and although I enjoyed the game, when we arrived we were told the starting stack was 3000 + 1000 early bird and then 3000 for your double. I pointed out that it was advertised as a 4000-4000 game and was told this was a mistake.

Is the sunday game on tonight. Coming from Naas how do i get there is it beside the Plaza Hotel??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭Macspower

yeah beside the plaza hotel... best route I find is up the naas road and turn off after the citywest turnoff down the new N81 I think it's called.. down to the bottom and join the blessington rd and turn left onto the tallaght bypass and when you pass the plaza take the next left onto the belgard rd and the next left onto the garda station rd and then enter on your left into the plaza car park..

make sure to go in and get a free car pass or you'll be clamped

    and GL

    anyone been to this lately?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 991 ✭✭✭tm2204

Paul, I believe the €2k guarantee is given only if there are 15+ players.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭Macspower

any idea of the numbers it's been getting....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 991 ✭✭✭tm2204

Spoke to Luke last week and I don't think it's been going too well. Hopefully it will build up.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭Macspower

good crowd tonight and gtd 2k was no matter how many players... we started with about 9 but it grew to 17 and good cash action as well...

managed to scoop for the 1 k 1st prize..

easily best structure for a weekly game... you wouldn't like it tom... better stay away from it ;)
