And there's definitely no AUG A3 on the horizon from G&G :-(

The DSR in the pic was at the Redwolf stand, and is a beautiful piece of kit. They also had some tasty .50 cal sniper goodness. The ASG stand had some interesting new pistols, and a prototype .338 from CA - no word yet if it's gas or spring operated, but it looks pretty sweet.

if the .50 cal was in red wolf stand its the socom gear one thats comin out, they have it marked same price as dsr-1 but im sure thats to change

Haharrrgh! My skepticism was justified! And the guy who sells the only other viable A3 model no doubt weeps into the piles of euro surrounding him ;-)

No matter, I think the A3 can be modded to be more realistic, and it's not like it isn't close as it is. I'd pay you and your henchmen for that kit, by the way. We can negotiate.

To my knowledge, it just uses the EGLM, same as the SCAR (makes sense since they're both FN rifles and that's the FN launcher). The question is whether under the front grip they'll have the component rail that allows the foregrip to be swapped between the standard, the P90-esque version and the EGLM.
I'd put money on the optics not coming out, but I'd dearly like to be wrong.

far beter versions out there than this one, a guy on arnies makes a very nice custom rig, but external rigs are not everyone cup of tea

It's pretty damn close to being an EGLM then. That's the first image I've seen of it detached. The design is pretty damn similar, though the attachment method is clearly different.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,156 ✭✭✭✭Lemming

Any sign of the G&P Stoner? If the company are there, please get Richie to beat them about the head until they agree there and then to finish the prototype and start production. Like tomorrow :D

Ps. you missed 'Nam day* at HRTA today (for Richie's added incentive to beat the G&P representatives if present), complete with car blaring out the Full Metal Jacket soundtrack.

    * Ok, so it wasn't quite 'Nam day - just me in full OD

This is ECHO1's mini gun on the Redwolf stall,
    3357832090_3607fb6d7b.jpg

Chrimson Trace laser grips, availible for pretty much any pistol. :)
    3356862123_0db961e2e1.jpg

G&G EBR, possibly with blowback too. :)
    3357673366_0b0770c65d.jpg

This is a classic army version of the minigun, theres no internal mechanism in it at the moment, its just a shell., nice weight to it even without its internals, the redwolf one weighs 16KG.
    3356765793_d045831a8d.jpg

This full metal revolver was a beauty.
    3356771011_99c7525a00.jpg

In other news, Classic Army are working on an AW338, the prototype was there and its not too bad, its not StarAres quality but its still only a shell prototype. :)

    Guay Guay FN FNC
    - Action Sport Games (new Blaster BBs, Lewis Machine Tool licensed AEGs, new sniper rifles, new 6mm gas/CO2 replica revolvers and pistols) and Classic Army (blow back M4A1, SVD)
    - Redwolf Airsoft (interview with Clarence Lai) and Carlton Chong from Airsoft Innovations (distraction device adapter kit and spoon kit for Tornado hand grenade)
    - Gunfire.pl (blowback AKs, replica PSO and new electric kit, which makes replica more responsive and realistic)
    - Crossman BBs (with very special function- more in our exclusive preview)
    - new replica pistols and AEGs from KWA
    - Cybergun IMI Tavor with working Mars sight

any news onthis tavor? from your pictures i see you have already been past there stand

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,140 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

Heres some more bits from KWA,

the new Sig P226 from KWA, uses the "system 7" gas mechanism and has an annodised sort of feel. myself and tony were very impressed with this pistol, its only across the way from the real deal Sig Saur stand so we didnt have to go far to compare. its way more solid than the KWA for instance, not nearly as shiney and it doesnt have any rattle at all.,

They also have the new M9 with all the same features. :)

pitty you missed this at the cydergun stand , there tavor is looking rather nice http://www.airsoft-news.eu/e107_plugins/content/content.php?content.137
    Cybergun
Speaking of Cybergun, they showed one extremely interesting product. AEG Tavor with working Mars red dot. First impressions of the replica: solid built and very hefty. All in all a solid product. The MARS sight was fully functional, all though the laser module was not working for obvious reasons, since such devices are ilegal in Germany. This is a step into a good direction for Cybergun and hopefully a long awaited departure from low end, low quality products. Hope floats they say...

and king arms ARM in april!

They must have had it hidden in the back or something, thats the exact stall where the MP44 and Cybergun GALIL where.

I was also having a nosey at that FAMAS in the background there, its nice and solid, more so than the TM one too.

I have some pics of the upcoming Classic Army AW338, aswell as their L96. If an SVD means a Sniperish AK thingy, then yep, theres certainly one if them there too. :)
flickr has been hit and miss so i havent got them all uploaded yet.

i have to say im liking that tavor will eirsoft be gettign them in and if so how much will they be going for?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,140 ✭✭✭✭TheDoc

    Hmmm

Any ETA on that Tavor then? Dont know which one to get, although that cybergun one is the only one I've seen thats actually, done and finished.

However im skeptical of buying what are essentially, a low end brand.

On a side note, thought we had it bad here and there is Germany, no lasers and no full auto.

From speaking to people there, i think the law is the same as ours, with the exception of the 1J limit. they have a .5J limit and then any guns over that are not allowed to fire fully automatic. its all confuzzled with firearms law there too.

as for the FAMAS, I think it was mostly plastic and it was still pretty solid, the parts that were supposed to be metal were metal, even the bipod was pretty sturdy. :)

A few decent pictures there lad was that Detonics RS?
the one with the Kimber-esque slide & Novak sights?

yep, there was a load of RS detonics there, loads of .45's in general.
the systema is an ingenious system really, the switch is completely computer controlled and that little piece sticking out at the sector gear is actually a light sensor to stop the gears in exactly the right spot. its full of nifty gadgetry but the bad news is... the version us sub 1J'ers are getting is only a 3 gear system much like a common gearbox. there will be some neat trickery going on inside it but i cant see it being a big enough step forward to justify its mental price. :)

    The Cybergun stall,
    3361306278_f677b9bd0d.jpg

This is a real Barret M82, just thought you all would like that scope,
The windage and elevation is adjustable as normal but displays it digitally, theres a range finder and everything all built into that scope, its a work of art. :)
    3361291810_7b43aab15b.jpg

This is the Umarex MP7A1 with proper trades, Ieve no idea who makes it but its not the new upcoming KWA GBB one. its probably a Galaxy or something. :(

    3360448157_1764748b11.jpg

These cases were brilliant, I'd love to get one with a stripped down AW338 inside. :)
    3361298434_5ccfdd01e7.jpg

Some new gear from ASG aswell, these are Co2 powered revolvers and Steyr M9 A1 pistol. there Rated at a little over 1J but theres downgraded ones in the pipeline. :)
