I saw the thread on the worst sections so I thought I would make this one on the best.

Maths: Maximum/Minimum problems. 20 marks for some algebra and basic differentiation, what's not to love. Also logarithms, they're very satisfying, (2006 P1 2c, oh yeah. :P)
Physics: Particle Physics, I just find it interesting.
Chemistry: I love the short questions, just.
Pass Irish: Comprehensions, easiest thing ever.

Maths - Trigonometry. It's so easy most of the time. Calculus is also pretty good. Differentiation can get really tedious though.

Physics - Mechanics is good because I do applied maths.

Applied Maths - Differential equations. I find it really interesting and it uses calculus which is pretty good.

Chemistry - Atomic Theory. I love the models of the atom.

Biology - Most of unit 2 is interesting. The rest isn't.

Maths- Trigonometry, Complex Numbers, and those delightful questions 1+2 on paper 1. HLMATHS4LYF!

English- I'm growing to love the comparative essays, they're quite fun to write! Also, Michael Longley's a legend.

French- Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Unfortunately I just abhor this language.

    Chemistry- Chemical Equilibrium. Best-chapter-ever.

Biology- Respiration/ Photosynthesis. Also, anything to do with the human body tbh, especially the nervous system. And blood.

Geography - I love the overall simplicity of this subject! My favourite bit's probably the economic geography, it's by far the most interesting.

Thread come back to life! :P

    English - Poetry, love Frost!

Irish - Erm, nothing really, since I dropped down to pass I kinda ignore Irish and just do enough to get by.

Maths - Integration, differenciation and pretty much calculus in general, along with co-ordinate geometry. Interesting and very satisfying if you get them right. Also, the integration question on the paper is very much application.

German - Ugh, I suppose the compositions are okay, but the grammar in LC makes German a bit of a bummer.

Biology - LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE pretty much all of it. :) The biochemistry is really interesting, respiration, photosynthesis, structure of DNA, photosynthesis.

Chemistry - Organic chemistry, rates of reaction (easy enough questions!) and atomic theory are lovely.

Physics - Mechanics mainly, cause of the maths. Electricity is okay, and we haven't done particle physics yet which seems to be all the rage...

English:Love all of it. From functional writing to writing comparative analyses.

Irish: Nothing that I "love" about it. I do HL and do the bare minimum to get a C. Hate the grammar.

Maths: A love/hate relationship really. Integration is lovely, differentiation is nightmarish and everything else depends on whether or not the question is easy :D

French: I really like the language and have a brilliant teacher. Love the reading and listening comprehensions and enjoy learning *some* of the grammar.

Biology: I love human biology and topics to do with the cell and microorganisms. I really despise botany and anything to do with plants however. Mind numbingly boring and far too detailed.

Chemistry: Love it from start to finish. No more needs to be said :)

Engineering: Interesting theory and love the practical aspect as well. Some of the theory is pure chemistry so that helps too.

Business: I don't hate the subject per se. It's just that it's a chore to work for.

English: Hamlet, coupled with Frost are the highlights of my Leaving Cert English. Everything else bears little significance in comparison.

History: Pre-WW1 is of huge interest to me. I find the Balkan tensions, Bismarck and causes of war hugely interesting. Also, in moderation, France during the inter-war period 1920-40, coupled with Britain.

Maths: Everything, simply put. However, at the moment I am finding integration and complex numbers very interesting and the cirlce pretty challenging. I love maths and everything about it.

Physics: I particulary like cicular motion and heat. I do not, however, dislike anything, except for some parts of electricity.

Business: The whole Ireland and the global economy and its role in Irish business is pretty intersting. Also, marketing would be a preference of mine.

French: The oral aspect, I love the idea of being fluent, therefore the speaking aspect is of great interest to me. I also like the comprehensions and composition.

Irish: Not much really, I have little enthusiasm for this subject. However, An Triail is interesting.

Irish: I went to a very good Gaeltacht twice so I find the oral parts easy enough.

English: Not much I like here tbh. Maybe paper 1?

French: I like the paper as a whole, I think it's one of the easiest and uncomplicated papers in the LC.

Physics: I find the questions hard so I like the definitions and the questions you just sub in a formula:o

Business: I like chapters with charts like pie charts, bar charts and break even points.
