    Hi All,

Without going into how bad 3 may or may not be as a network, is anyone here using the E169 modem with 3 prepay on Leopard? I got one today and can't get it to work on my Mac, but it works fine on my wife's Windows XP laptop.

On the Mac, I "installed" the software, rebooted and then open the mobile partner software but when I click connect, I get "connecting" for 1-2 seconds and nothing happens, it never connects and throws no error messages (though every time, NetworkConfig asks for my account password):

and then gives me the "connecting" message for a couple of seconds, before dropping back to the initial connect screen.

Any ideas? Thought I'd post here before calling their support which I'm pretty confident will be incompetent and give me some crap from a script...

    Thanks in advance...

Ok, got it sorted :). For some odd reason, the modem needs to manually be configured via System Preferences => Network on Mac OS X but after that, the supplied Mobile Partner utility connects just fine. It's actually working very well where I'm at currently - now to try it as much as possible around town before my 14 days are up :D.
