Have you tried the Marks and Spencer maximum support bras? I use them while running, am a similar cup size and haven't had any problems with them. Also, I've had the Frog Bra recommended to me in another community.

lol, 2 bras? was that a lady who didnt really require a bra..?

i got a decent one in m&s, its worth a look.

I tried a few from M&S but they didn't really work for running - so I tried wearing two! It felt like my chest was encased in rubber bands!

I got an excellent one in Bramora on Earlesfort Terrace - it's next to the Insomnia/Post Office and downstairs. They are really good and they take the time to fit you properly and the bra was only €31.

Thats my size too. I have a Shock Absorber one. It has two straps at the back, kinda hard to close, but its very tight on. Got it in Debenhams on Henry st. Really pushes you in, like down 2 cup sizes!

I'd second the suggestion of Bramora - they order things in really quickly too. I got a good boulder holder for my H cups there.

M&S ones which are recommended for long distance running. I run at least 50 miles a week most weeks and they're the business for a big cup. Only 30 euro a pop too. I've heard great things about the CWX ones but I've not tried them yet as I'm iffy about buying online.

iv tried all those crap ones that look great but really aren't, and this can be so annoying!! but a few months ago i found a fabulous one (im size 36FF so you can trust me lol) ... im looking at it now and all the tag says is SHOCK ABSORBER. they have different degrees of strength for dif bra sizes so you know that if you have big boobs you will really get the support you need.
i just got mine in a ladies clothes shop but i just googled it and found the website : http://www.shockabsorber.co.uk/home/index.htm

Shock Absorber. have one and im roughly around your size. Brilliant support, no wiring. Pull you in, make you look smaller even! Available in most larger Elverys Sports stores and debenhams and id say any good sports store. retailing between 30 e and 40e

I always found shock absorber rubbish for a D - DD cup. Insufficient support and completely cuts into you after 4 miles.

Sloggi do a few really good ones, reasonably priced. They do a more traditional one and a crop style one, both very good, although I have to say I'm not as well upholstered in the chest as the OP.

I just found that the Shock Absorber doesn't fit me right at all for some reason. I have to go up both a cup size and a back size in it, and it's still ridiculously uncomfortable and that's without leaving the fitting room.

wow, totally surprised with that! because i find it so comforable! although i have gone down a cup size recently and it still fits as snugly as it did before. Lack of colour choices is what irks me! could only get it in white and i wanted black!

I mostly use shock absorber, level 4, the one with the double cup.

Other brands to look into include
    enell
    freya active
    under armour
    triumph
    jockey
    odlo
    moving comfort
Out of these my favourite are enell and moving comfort.

websites that stock them include figleaves, Booby Doo & Less Bounce

Bramora also stock the Shock Absorber - a girl at work has a few of those and she said they are great. She does a lot of martial arts and running.

ok, this is going to sound really funny but I bought a really good sports bra in ...... Penneys :eek:of all places. Usually I don't (and actually can't due to being a weird size) buy bras in Penney's. I'm a 32DD so need good quality supportive bras. One day I was going to the gym after work and had forgotten my sports bra. I ran in to penney's to get one to keep me going just for that night (cannot even comprehend running without one!)- thinking I'd have to buy a cup size or two smaller but they actually had my size and it turned out to be better than the expensive one I had.

It was a while ago (2 years ish) though.

Off topic, does anyone else get annoyed by bra makers thinking if you are a 32 on the back then you must be an A or B cup. It is possible to be slight but have big knockers you know. Don't even get me started on how crap the selection of bras are in NZ. I actually cied when I went shopping for bras recently. They were all hideous granny bras and any nice ones stopped at a C cup :(

RoosterIllusion post like that again and you'll be taking a break. Deleted. This is not after hours, so take it there. Thank you.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Oh yes they look they were riveted together by shipwrights unless you are willing to pay
over the average for a bra which is suporitve and sleek and sexy.

That is why so many lines stop at a C up and at a size 16 anything above that
is classes as a different type of bra so that they can say the extra material
means extra cost and they charge more for lines with a larger range in sizes.

WHAT Penneys go up that far?! always thought they stopped at a C or D cup? Personally I find that all the nice sleek-ish looking ones only go up to DD if thats even the case!

Check out some of those. We equestrians prefer not to get black eyes, so you may find some winners in a tack shop :p.

They don't usually go up to a DD (except in hideous bras where the cups could double as hats) - especially with a 32 back size but for some reason the sports bra I bought came in a huge variety of sizes. Weird, I know!

    Hello,

I vary between a 34D and 34E depending on my weight so I was on the hunt for a good bra, let alone sports bra for ages.

I find normal bras don't give me enough support even for when I'm walking, so now I wear a sports bra most of the time. Actually, is that an ok thing to do? Or does anyone know any good supportive non-sports bras?

Anyway ebay is your only man to get sports bras, you can get them new for at least 20 euro cheaper than what they are in the shops.

I bought a shock absorber one first of all and I was astounded at how bad it was, was absolutely no support at all, I might aswell have been wearing a vest top.
I tried again and bought an M&S one, and it is absolutely perfect, can't say enough about it.

Have a look on ebay and you have alot of choice.

Buying on ebay is probably a good solution costwise but I would definitely advise getting fitted in a shop for a proper sports bra - your size will differ from brand to brand and you also want to make sure that it gives your enough support.

You could always get it on ebay then once you are sure about the brand and size.

Well i suppose I was referring to Debenhams Collection size wise, never thought penneys went past a D cup.
