Christian Bale in American Psycho

Originally his American Psycho performance was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when the film was released on DVD in 2001, I think it really helped Bale come into his own, commercial and artistically. The whole film has a clear, crisp sound, and a sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives his scenes a big boost. He's been compared to Russell Crowe, but I think Bale's on-set tantrums have a far much more bitter, cynical sense of humour

Cool it with the anti-speedboatchase remarks Suspiria

I wonder what Suspiria79's head would look like on a stick?

I think Suspiria79 can get us a reservation at Dorsia, don't ban him. Now if you'll excuse me I have to return some video tapes...

Shame it's not really original! ;)

    Meh, since we're having fun

In '87, Bale released this, "Empire of the Sun", his most accomplished work. I think the undisputed masterpiece is the line "Hey kid, would ya like a Hersey bar?", a quote so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the message. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of chocolate, and the importance of product placement in big-budget movies, it's also a personal statement about the bitter toll war takes on a mans soul.

Do you feel like you are being cross examined?

As I arrive at my discussion topic I'm on the verge of tears as I'm certain there wont be any decent replies. But there are; relief washes over me in an awesome wave.

speedboatchase has mistaken me for this dickhead Galvasean. It seems logical because Galvasean also works at P&P and in fact does the same exact thing I do and he also has a penchant for Valentino suits and Oliver Peoples glasses. Galvasean and I even go to the same barber, although I have a slightly better haircut.

Grames, I'm not one to badmouth, but your joke had one fatal flaw; Quagmire is such a dork, such a boring spineless lightweight. Now if you said speedboatchase or Pigman, otherwise it was amuzing. Now if you'll excuse me, I really must be going.

I edited Galvaseans post... and I liked it. I can't make myself any clearer.

    Let's see Galvesans sig.
Look at that subtle off-yellow coloring.
    The tasteful thickness of it.
Oh, my God. It even has a rubber tire.

Galvasean, it's Bond, grames bond. You're my mate so I think you should know: I've reported a lot of posters. Some girls in the ladies lounge uh, some trolling people maybe 5 or 10 um an NYU girl I met in yore ma's. I reported her on wi fi in a parking lot behind some donut shop. I reported Bethany, my old girlfriend, in after hours, and some man uh some old ****** with a dog last week in personal issues. I reported another girl for posting about an unmentionable, I had to, she almost got away and uh someone else there I can't remember maybe a model, but she's banned too. And Paul Allen. I reported Paul Allen quick as an axe in the face, his body is banned so he is in a bathtub in Hell's Kitchen. I don't want to leave anything out here. I guess I've banned maybe 20 people, maybe 40. I have records of a lot of it, uh some of the boardsies have seen the tapes. Tonight I, uh, I just had to report a LOT of people. And I'm not sure I'm gonna get away with it this time. I guess I'll uh, I mean, ah, I guess I'm a pretty uh, I mean I guess I'm a pretty sick guy. So, if you get back tomorrow, I may show up at Harry's Bar, so you know, keep your eyes open.

Well, let's just say hypotetically ok? What if they have a great personality at after hours?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,807 ✭✭✭speedboatchase

A good personality consists of a chick with a little hard body, who will correct all her spelling mistakes without being too slutty about things, and who essentially will not try to bump her own threads

There are no after hours posters with good personalities. *high 5*
