    Hi guys,

Right now I'm in a place in my life where I want to get back in to shape. I know I can do it if I put my heart into it but for whatever reason I just cannot motivate myself whatsoever to keep at it.

What I'm thinking of doing is making a bet with someone to see who can lose the most weight (tbc, could be %bf etc). Now this may have been done before on this forum with a way of deciding who the winner was. If so, I'd have no problem using a proven system that is transparent and fair.

Ultimately, I'd hope that we would both reach our targets and therefore nullify the bet.

For the record, I'm a 26 yr old male, 5'10" and just under 14 stone. My ideal weight is around 12 stone.

I'd be willing to wager up to €500 that I can do this. Any takers?

If you want accountability, start a log so we can ridicule give advice. :)
    Or you could enter this

If you are looking for money back and in Dublin, I think Ben Dunne's gyms have some scheme of refunding your membership fee if you lose a certain amount of weight.

Or you realy expecting people to put up 500 euro on a bet to a random stranger on the internet?
It can be difficult enough to collect from friends never mind strangers.

I'm not in Dublin and not looking to join a gym. I'm looking for a personal challenge against someone else.

I don't agree with your "random stranger on the internet thing either". I'd be willing to meet the challenger before hand and leave the money with an impartial body, perhaps a mod. It doesn't have to be anything near €500 but that's my personal limit.

I hadn't seen the Boards Better Challenge.. I'll give it a read, cheers.

Oh I know you weren't asking for info on gyms, it's just a well known offer that could possibly have saved you money as it ties in with your goal

Just trying to be helpful that's all
