According to my missus, I sleep nearer to the door usually(hotels/B&Bs/friends places,etc). Must be a subconscious thing though. I've never actually noticed it.

Right side ftw. I slept on the left for about 2 weeks when I moved in with the gf, it's weird on that side. I now have the right side.

I dont want to fry anybodies head but I frequently sleep in foreign beds and I know that I HAVE to sleep on the left hand side of the bed but I see it from the foot of the bed looking at it as opposed to the lying in it line!
So answer me this........... Are we left as we look or right as we lie?

sometimes i sleep on the left, sometimes right. other nights if i cant sleep i turn in the bed so my head is where my feet usually are and vice versa. some nights i sleep on the couch.

i think the best way to decide which side you and your partner sleep comes down to whether your left or right handed..

i am both left handed & from the northern hemisphere so i sleep on the right..

I have never been in The Southern Hemisphere, yet I am right handed and live in the Northern Hemisphere and sleep on the left!?

The side with the biggest gap between the bed and the wall, which is usually the side nearest the door. In a bed with equal space between wall and bed each side, the side nearest the door. In most situatons it is usually the right hand side though all things being equal etc, and in my current room it is the right hand side.
