    For those interested in real Girevoy Sports/Kettlebells information

    Master Coach, Sportsman & 7 time World Champion Vasiliys Ginko will be returning to Belfast-Ireland on the 25th & 26th April to coach the new Club-Instructor Level 1 course

    The I.U.K.L is the only Kettlebell assoc reconised and part of TAFISA,which is governed by the I.O.C

    Vasiliys is an authentic sportsman and has been coached and competed in Russia,setting World records and holding World Titles....a you-tube Guru he is not.

    what does a kettlebell competition entail?

    ive never heard of it before

    10mins of as many lifts as you can.In three classical exercises
    Jerk
    Snatch
    Long cycle

    I was at this comp but wasnt competing sadly but will be there this year for the amatures.
    Amature comps on two 24kg's and if you look at the ole timer Ed on the aiklf homepage ( bottom ) I'ed like to see any sportsman from Ireland,America what ever get out the same numbers....respects to this 65yr old
    Most so called Kettlebell coaches/you tube Gurus ( who wont compete in Russia ) do what the Masters sportsmen call Circus tricks.These guys are the true Masters..........
