    Tried all this and now it's fecked up yet again with the same sympthoms and when i called their customer support number 0833333333, i came to realise it isn't charged like a normal 083 number, i rang from my gf's mobile(coz i'd only, 53c credit(i'm 085)) and when i got cut off with a low battery, they rang me back on my mobile, and it came up as 004433333333, it's actually english! and i was cut off in about 10 seconds because I WAS BEING CHARGED FOR THEIR CALL!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
    RANT OVER:rolleyes:
    QUOTE]

    As Jay93 said 1913 is the free phone number to contact 3, the 0833333333 was the original number set up for non 3 phone customers to contact them, a 1800 number was set up for BB customers almost two years ago but this is now inactive as 1913 is free from all mobiles and landlines for both phone and BB customers.
    3 have an executive office in Glasgow who look after complaints for Ireland and the UK.
    All outbound calls from 3 Ireland's call centre are routed through this office, thats why the number shows up as an English number (which you are not charged for answering).

    tip for faster speeds using small USB dongles
    If anyone is using the small USB dongles from O2, Vodafone, 3 or Meteor and is finding the "reception" poor - try this;

    Buy an extension USB cable which acts as an Aerial and can boost the signal and make it run a lot faster and is more reliable
