Anyone know if this game is out tomorrow or not? Have seen some sites say May or June others saying release date 27/02.

ign says feb 27, i went into gamestop in dun laoghaire and thay said they havent got a realse date,

cd wow has 27th but amazon and play say later in the year, its a bit of an unknown at the minute!

There is no date out for it yet. Eurogamer says "Spring 2009" and GameFAQs says "Q2 for USA", no date for Europe. I'd say its still a few months away.

Massive fan here too but i dont think end of March if it isnt out tomorrow, most sites are saying May or June unfortunately if not tomorrow.

brought back to 29 of may from what uv read and play.com has it on pre-order for that date. seems like ive been waiting for its release for years

It will be out in May. They will wait for the friday before a big event.

Cant wait it looks awesome, GREAT fighters lined up.

Ah no way, I've been looking forward to the 27th for the past 3 or 4 weeks....I trusted IGN to have a proper UK/Ireland release date.

Did you not say above you went into gamestop and they didnt have a release date for it??

I cant imagine them not knowing or having a release date if it was out tomorrow they would already have it in stock more than likely and be putting it on the shelves in the morning.

Obviously but they are nationwide and I would think fairly aware if a game was due for release tomorrow, I would imagine the fact they dont have a release date would suggest it hasnt been finalised yet and will be later in the year unfortunately.

If it was out tomorrow Play.com would have it in stock. Instead they have it listen for release on the 29th of May. A much more likely release date.

Any ideas on how the gameplay is shaping up? I remember playing one on the Dreamcast years ago and it was next to impossible. You start the fight, are just about to press the "kick" button and before you can even blink twice, the oppenent has already got you strangled into unconsciousness with his thighs.

Hi Lads, this game looks likely to be out on 02/06/09 and no earlier imo. That 27th FEB is a fantasy release date, it was never going to be out then. There is now a UFC UNDISPUTED offical website and it explains that THQ haven't put out a release date yet, however many game shops have put the date also to the 02/06/09 so there must be something to it

I believe some of the gameplay will be quite complex, so anyone who takes the effort of learning the moves will get rewarded. Also the game won't be a button basher which is also pleasing. There is so much I've read about the gameplay(too little time to write it all:()but if you go over to Sherdog and stick UFC UNDISPUTED in the search engine then there is reviews from guys who've already played it and they say its unreal:D

Yeah, it does look absolutely brilliant. The graphics look to be as good as those of Fight Night, which were amazing. For it to be pushed back for 3 months is a bit of a kick in the teeth.

Last time I trust IGN with release dates. Think I might pick up the new Smackdown second hand for around 30, or 35 if I can find it that cheap, instead.

I'd like to think I'm well informed on the game so I'd say that release date is pretty accurate, the fighters look so realistic, there is a new video up of Lesnar V Mir and its quality. From everything I've read about the game physics, it is possible I might never leave the house when it comes out:D

On the UFC Undisputed website forum there is talk of a demo being released around the 19th of April, if thats the case then the game surely wont be too long after that so fingers crossed for a release early may.

I'd say the only way that it will be released in May is if they coincide the release date with UFC 98- Lesnar V Mir which will be to unify the belts and the game is UFC UNDISPUTED

Well id say the fact that the THQ developers answer questions on the forum and say May and there is a demo in April makes it pretty likely to be May

Also that fight is on May if it was anything to do with it.

Hopefully mate, the latest I seen was Spring 09 and thats from THQ, so then that would mean April. I really hope so but I'll stay with my original prediction of 02/06;)

Hey all, I thought I'd dig this thread back up as THQ have big announcments due today about the ganme with a definite release date expected and possibly a demo release date. Lets see if my 2nd June prediction was correct:D

Well we were both incorrect May 19th is the date with Forrest Griffin on the cover, which is a Tuesday, but games never get released on a Tuesday, ha ha ha

because the americans very rarely understand that the world is not contained in north america

there are press releases put out regularly that talk about worldwide releases, yet the game is released on a tuesday in america and a friday in europe. it happens extremely regularly and it pretty much never means simrelease

in fact there are only ever a handful of games that get simrelease, and theyre generally the huge worldwide guaranteed smashes

if they come out the same day ill gladly eat a hat of your chosing tho

I'll send Superwoody a PM. He was over in London a few weeks ago playing it at a press event. He also got to interview Rampage and the Irish hand grenade.

He got invited by THQ over to the UFC in London ring side seats. Food and drink on the house and to meet all the fighters and get to play the game.

He said it was excellent anyway. THQ are sending him a free copy of the game too.
