I use NUI.
Currently beta testing out version 5 alpha but the screenshot is of version 4.2 as 5 is currently not stable enough to raid with, the 25 man frames have an fps leak.

i was thinking of trying Nui but it just looked to much on screen for my liking.

Yeah it's great. At the moment the versions available lack 20/25/40 man raid frames but the new version 5 has them, just needs to be tweaked and performance improved before it's released.

Recount and Omen plug directly into it (bottom window to the right) and can both be displayed side-by-side neat and tidy, or separate (clicking the "recount" button to change).

The "Raid 10" button is currently showing 10 raid frames, can also show party,solo etc.,

The HUD though is really nice (top button), but i turn it off myself in raids as it's too much to watch on the screen, I prefer to see everything going on around me

It's only one single addon, one folder to drop in to your interface folder, that's it. Works straight away with little or no setup and on any resolution.

The parts you think are blocking your view are actually not, the viewable area is resized by NUI so you don't miss anything that would otherwise be hidden below the bottom UI frames for example.

That Nui looks quite nice indeed i might give that a go when it gets released.

have to admit im a clicker too!

have a razorback mouse with enough buttons on the sides to take care of my devestate, next target etc

i never use w,s,a,d, i always have and always will use the up,down,left,right.

force of habbit now at this stage!

I find whatever works best for you is the better option. Just because someone likes bashing buttons dosen't mean you have to follow them

back when I was levelling, don't have any at 80 for some reason

I'm a bit of a minimalist, plus I keybind absolutely everything.

Grid, Decursive and Omen kick in during groups/raids but there's not a whole lot else I need.

Fair play on the minimalist screen btw. I'm all about keybindings too, but need icons aswell as too many variables.

BasicMinimap is what i'm using. It is very basic as the name suggests. You can have a circle or square shape, change the opacity, scale, change the position, have a border or not etc. Just the basic options

Chinchilla - More options than you probably need
simpleMinimap - a lot of options but doesn't use much resources.
