How often/When do you shower?

A guy i know only showers in the evening and not in the morning so he can sleep in for an extra 10 mins. I find it a small bit weird. Surely u'd be a small bit sweaty from being under sheets for 7 or so hours. Do many people shower in the evening instead of the morning?

I'd have to have a shower every morning before going to work. It helps wake me up. Then most days a shower in the evening after the gym or soccer, but I couldn't survive without a shower in the morning.

Just wondering how smelly is the average boardsie?

I shower every morning even if i'm running late, if i don't shower i just feel icky. I worked with a guy who only showered once a week so needless to say in the summer it got a little fragrant around mid week.

Every morning to wake me up and if i'm going out that night or need to relax i'll have another shower. There's no way i'd leave the house in the morning without a shower.

Depends, I am unemployed so I need to keep up apearances, every sunday.

When I am working I shower in the morning. Helps me wake up :P Shower after gym too.

Every morning and most evenings after my run/workout. I don't think anyone I work with showers in the morning, they're always harping on about how they get up at 7:15...we start work at 8.

I don't get how people can just get out of bed, get dressed and go to work. What about your shower, making lunch, cup of tea, breakfast, sitting down in front of Sky Sports News to see what pressing matters arose whilst you slept? I just don't get how people can get up and get out of the house in 15 minutes, don't like rushing me.

If I didn't shower in the morning before work I'd feel yucky all day. I also shower after work when I change out of my work clothes (trousers and shirt). Surely most people sweat a little after a days work. I like to think a shower after work draws a line under the work part of the day and starts a new part.

I think I have a mild touch of OCD and that could explain it

I don't sweat anymore than average but still think it's important to not let your smell affect those who do bother to wash. I have sympathy for those who sweat alot but not those who do nothing about it.

Maybe that's harsh.

I have to have a shower before i get dressed in the morning or i just dont feel clean going outside id be paranoid that everybody would be smelling me. Lol.

I shower every morning, then again after the gym and if I'm going out I'll have another cos showering in the gym isnt the same as showering at home....

A normal day would be 2 showers though....

Can't beleive the amount people wash in here, only wash in the evening and then its not every day. Just depends on what I have been doing that day.

Never had a single comment that I smelled bad.

I always used to shower in the evening cos my b*tch of an ex flatmate decided mornings were 'her' time (we didn't have enough hot water for both of us and she'd get up at the crack of dawn). Don't see anything wrong with it, tbh. It's not like I sweat buckets in my sleep. Now I usually shower in the morning but if I need to get up early or I'm in a hurry I don't bother until the evening. Don't see the problem tbh! I use deodorant and don't do sport, I don't stink! No way am I getting up before 7 for a shower.

I shower when I feel dirty. Sometimes I can easily get away without showering
for 2 or 3 days. Mind you, I always practice basic hygiene practice every morning.

I shower in the morning but I don't wash my balls.

When I get to work I wash my balls in the kettle.

Then I make everyone tea.

Then I go into the bathroom,jerk off, then wash my balls again in the sink.

Every 2nd or 3rd day in winter (for hair washing). Once a week full shower. Unless I've done some heavy exercise or spilled something horrible on myself.
You really don't get sweaty/dirty if you live in a cold house (11 degrees tops in winter, usually 9).

Every day once spring kicks in coz it gets warmer again.

Watch your diet people, it is amazing how much more and worse you smell if you eat crap.

How do people have the time to shower in the morning?

It's valuable coffee and email checking time before going to work. It takes me at least 15 minutes to have a shower and then there's the drying. It's just too cold when you get out of the shower in the morning.

I try to have a bath every night and that's about it. At the weekend, i'd take a morning shower before going out.

Jeez, some boardsies are over hygenic me thinks.

I have the misfortune to use a pool with mixed communal showers.
Having to notice obsessive soaping is just about my least favorite thing ever. :mad:

Pretty much every morning, except the odd Sunday if I'm just gonna be going from couch to fridge/toilet back to couch all day!
My boyfriend is obsessive about it though. He showers at least twice a day, but often 3 or 4 times! If he's staying in my house he showers in the morning before heading home, where he has another shower because his is a power shower and he reckons mine doesn't get him clean enough..??

How do people not have time to shower?
Water on at 6:45, in the shower 20 mins later, I always have a shower in the morning, and if I go to the gym or work out I'd have another one afterwards.
