The beauty of buying in bulk

just wondering if anyone has some good bulk buy protein suggestions.

i recently bought 12 boxes of myprotein flapjacks, 18bars per box.
with shipping it turned out to be around a euro per bar, which is pretty good considering the normal price of a protein bar in the shop

i also bought 30kg of whey last year, all unflavored, turned out to be around 9euro per kg plus the postage.

both of these allowed me to get a juicy bulk discount,

i am just wondering if any of the readers on this board have made groups, as in buy in bulk get discount and split the protein up??

when i bought the protein it came in a massive 20kg bag and then a 5kg bag and then 5 nice 1 kg bags, so prehaps not that practacal, but the bars would be perfect and excellent value.

any other good bulk deals out there??
and how much would you normally spend on your 1kg of protein???

Never bothered buying more than 5KG at a time tbh. Did split shipping from myprotein with a mate once. Gonna be making another purchase at the end of the month and will just get the usual 5KG of whey and few other bits.

As for protein bars....I make my own. :) Hell of a lot cheaper than a euro a go.

What in gods name do you lift to necessitate 30 odd kg of protein in a year??

Went splits with a mate once. It would be a good idea for people in gyms. Bulkpowders have a standard shipping rate up to 25kg, so it really does pay to get it in bulk there.

How do you make your own protein bars?

i could use more than 30kg of protein a yeear

a 12lb bag is 5kilos and i can use one in 6 weeks so by rough calculations im using 60kg of protein a year from powder alone

i also eat plenty of steaks and chicken filllets
