    Someone was shot in the carpark and they wont let anyone in, just incase anyone was planning on training today...

    One man has been taken to hospital and another arrested following a shooting incident in west Dublin.

    The incident happened in the car park of the Garda Sports and Social Club in Westmanstown at approximately 1pm today.

    Shots were fired and one man was injured. He has been rushed to hospital where his injuries are said not to be life-threatening.

    Another man was arrested at the scene. It is understood the arrest was made by an off-duty Garda.

    The man is being held at Lucan Garda Station and the area has been sealed off for a technical examination.
