Has this ever happened anybody else?:o Fell on the ice a couple of weeks ago and looks like I've done it.
Anybody got any recommendations for stuff you can do to try and stay somewhat in shape. Sitting down hurts so no exercise bike, walking hurts so can't do that much and press ups and squats hurt too as I found out when training on Sunday. So.... anything I should be able to do? I'm going to cut calorie intake but aside from that not sure what else to do

same thing happened to me last year .. I wasnt able to run for at least 10 weeks, was just too uncomfortable .. I was able to use the cross trainer at the same intensity as before though so maybe this is an option?

Is swimming a possibility? It is not weight bearing so perhaps give it a try.

Thanks lads, I don't think swimming is an option cos you're still going to be using the muscles attached to the coccyx which will move it and cause the pain. Not in a gym so not sure about cross trainer, might try a pay as you go one. Thanks again

Don't nay say on idea's like this. Try putting a float between your legs and not kicking, just work your upper body for the moment, it's better then nothing. This should hopefully minimize the strain in the area..Have you had it assessed? Get it x-rayed 1st. It could be dislocated and need to be manipulated back into position. A decent Chiropractor, Osteopath, Physio (with maniuplative therapy training) or a physical therapist should be able to do this.

    Have you got your doughnut??:P
