Rugby players would get it a lot and the former physio for the Irish rugby team is:
Ailbe McCormack, Ranelagh Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Clinic, 01-4965820

If it's happening a lot and you've built up other muscles already and it's still happening I can recommend an acupuncture type guy who's brillliant but expensive (E90 a go)

"The Star" Geoghan just outside Carlow is very good for hamstrings. His idea is that hamstrings just dont pull but that something is causing them to pull. He will sort out the problem and then tell you get physio / rubs etc. if needed after that..

You're covering a rather large area there whycliff.

    Maynooth area; there's Leinster Clinic.

You could also check out Excel Phsyio in Rialto.

I have used both on a number of occasions for hamstring and cruciate injuries. Both highly experienced. in fact, the two head guys have both been involved with the Kildare intercounty team at various stages.

The physio that I see myself is Dave Lyons...he's based in Tempelogue just off the M50. Not sure that he'd want me to put up his mobile number but anyone that wants it can PM me. He is by far the best physio that I've dealt with In Ireland.
