I am really enjoying this thread.
    Are there rules, or "understandings"?
Can you (one) post a photo if you haven't won, or should you wait for a decent interval?

If you have a photo, now would be a good time to post it. ;)

So this is a research page where you trawl through Flickr until you get it!!! I uploaded it to my Flickr page last year or the year before but I used imageshack for the image here so there should be no reference to Flickr.....

This thread really shows how many stunning places there are in Donegal! The 'up here it's different' gang should be paying us for this :)

This looks like a couple of places I know.. The end of the lake at Dunlewy in the Poison Glen? Or is it Glenveagh as was guessed already?

I am pretty sure it's Glenveagh, south western end of lake, the end nearer Doochary.

Maybe I wasn't precise enough the first time I wrote the answer.

Ok, now I feel able to enter the game.

This is on my desktop, I think it is a bit squashed, but still recognisable, if you know where it is, of course.

  • Registered Users Posts: 692 ✭✭✭Durnish

Gweebarra it is, but from the north side, actually taken from end of Corr Point/Doeey strand.

Here is the return view, from the cashel, shown centre left.

Ive just checked these photos to see if I had left the names on them by accident.. 100% right, that was fast!

by the way, how do you display the photos in the message, rather than just having the link attached?

Maybe I should have left it a little longer:D
Was almost sure of your first and third pic, for the second I assumed you probaly went up to the ciffs in horn head before you took the pic of Dunfanaghy:P
Haven't a clue about posting images sorry......

My pics are hosted in cyberspace by Photobucket.
I just pick up one of the codes from the pic on the site.
I think it's the direct url one for this board.

  • Registered Users Posts: 653 ✭✭✭Cul a cnoic

Firstly, create an account (free) with Imageshack & upload the image to www.imageshack.us . You have the option, when doing this, to rescale the image to a smaller size if you so wish.

When writing the message just click on the 'insert image' button and paste in the direct link from your photo in imagshack.

Always use the "Preview Post" to see what your post looks like and if you are happy, then "Submit Post", if not edit again.
