hello all, does anyone here know or used the tony quinns weight loss formula was thinking of giving it a go, but wanted to see if anyone here could tell me the side effects or if it worth the money? cheers for any advice!

Gonna guess it's some sugar and protein and vitamins that you mix in water. Gonna take a wild guess you can get it in Tony Quinn's shops.

OP there's probably no direct side-effects, but it's not going to be anywhere near as good for you as eating better and exercising. I doubt It's much different to slimfast or any other such product.

Or is it some kind of "fat-burning" supplement? They tend not to work as well as they're meant to.

Tony Quinn supplements are very over priced amongst other things...Best advice is to steer clear and dont be looking for weight loss formula's. Start with cleaning up your diet and reviewing your excercise regime (if you have 1)! Also not to have ago, but if you looked through other threads on the board you'd see this has been answered extensively in the past few days already

well sorry but did a search and found nothing.

anyways i have joined the gym and am attending regularly but was looking for something to help me out a bit.

In english, the pills will do nothing. What they claim to do is what a good structured weights program should do tho (raise your body's basal metabolic rate).

And wtf is the story with them calling it your "resting metabolism"?

As I said Markos, I wasn't to have a go. Anyways, joining the gym is great if you're keeping it up, it's the 1st step on the road to fitness. Before you worry about supplements you should be looking at your excercise & diet. If you post up your current gym programme, diet and stats (age, height, weight if you feel comfortable) it'd serve you far better then ask about supplements!

The scary thing about the Joe Duffy show about Tony Quinn was that John Boyle that owns Boyle Sports bookies was on saying how great he was!
