do you think a 1300 a day calorie diet

    Is ok for a woman who weighs about 12 stone and wants to lose weight? Assume the only exercise being done is weights 3 x a week and maybe 5x 90 minute walks a week.

    Too low for that level of activity.

    As a general rule, 10 calories per pound of body weight is as low as you should go while cutting, and even then, you should have an occasional refeed.

    That level of activity is not low. Unless she is spending the rest of her time in bed, she's still doing more than most of the population.
