Leinster. I reckon we're 50/50 to beat Quinns at the Stoop. Can't see us coming anywhere near beating Munster in the semi-final though. Reckon Munster will go on to take Heineken Cup again.

(I think he is aware of this by the way, I just don;t think he has the professionalisim and adaptability to develop a plan B to a failing plan A - it's always the sign of a coach who says "fu*k them all - I'll either be proven right or die trying" - usually occurs in the final season of their reign, unfortunately this man may get another - nothing against the coach per sè, but has been nothing short of abmysmal whatever he's tried to get Leinster to play this season - flattered by a shocking Wasps team in RDS to fall back on and getting out of a very weak group that we were talking of being top-seeds after the 2 first games, then went through as bottom winner seeds and only on the back of an inept Wasps team losing in Castres.)

Despite where you're from or who you support or how bitter a rival you want to call them, there is absolutely no debate that Munster are comfortably the best side in Europe and will win the HEC this year again, can't see anyone stopping them, very possible they will pull off a double in the league also, I'd say Leinster and Ospreys will make up 2 of the other top 3, but that could go any way, possibly Leinster, we'll wait and see (although seeing as we still have Thomond Park & Liberty Stadium to visit, we're looking at possibly 3rd for Leinster).

You've got the wrong man, I'm afraid. The flat line attack is down to Gaffney, and I'll be glad to see the back of it as well.

What I seriously dislike about it is the complete contradiction in Gaffney's offensive philosophy and Cheika's team selection. In Nacewa we have one of the best attacking out-halves to ever play in this country, but obviously he can't handle playing in that flat-line, even if his performances have been underrated thus far. And in playing Contepomi at 12 the team is completely losing any advantages brought by the style in the first place.

    Books?

Location is irrelevant when supporting a team.... i am also a Longford town foot ball fan . . Is that ok? . . . Being from Leinster is not an Identity.

Most of my Rugby supporting friends including my brother are D4 heads,,,,, most are nice guys but turn into arseholes the day of a match and deteriorate to calling anyone without a well pronounced fake south Dublin accent a ''knacker''
Its fairly pathetic . . . And I much prefer the more down to earth crew in munster, our level of support & knowledge is also far superior.

Anyway . . . I do get a lot of abuse from my fellow Munster fans after matches about being a dub .. bud its all good fun.

Born in Dublin, but relate more to the Munster psyche, so I guess I am a fair weather Leinster man - in fact I have never supported a rugby team that have given me good value , including Ireland - always the nearly men - anyway i preffered playing or trying to play ...
From a rugby perspective how I wish I was born in New Zealand, schooled in Blackrock , and lived in Munster - then I could have celebrated many victories

Watching connacht can be pretty grim and been to more ireland and leinster games than connacht ones due to location more than anything.
Very hard get down to galway for 6.30 from dublin on a friday while i can walk to rds if leinster were playing.

After that comment I think I would put a significant chunk of change on you never being to more than 2 or maybe 3 games - for either Munster or Leinster combined - in your life. (if any at all) More just there for the anti-Leinster / pro-Munster bandwagon no doubt. ;) But say hello to the Munster crew for me when you're chillaxing on the banks of the Shannon sharing the love. I'll be the person shouting at all the goys walking by in tracky bottoms calling them knackers and waiving my pint of ken at them while my butler does a drive by insult. Well im Leinster but never had a great attachment to them dunno why really tis strange, that said i wouldn't go off and then i say i was a Munster man because my province is stereotyped etc. I just enjoy watching rugby these days as a neutral (bar internationals) and will support any team who is willing to run the ball.

I've quite a softspot for the Hairsprays.

They play great rugby, Gavin Henson and James Hook annoy people to an inhuman degree...

    I love that. :P

I'll be supporting Munster over them (just :P) but I do like them. In the same way I like Toulouse - they play decent rugby. A rarity sometimes.

Because it really, really, really bugs people. Especially rugby fans.

I'd know people who get genuinely annoyed by Henson in particular, and proclaiming how gay he is, and tbh I find that pathetic. At the end of the day, who cares what they do off the pitch, and when they play as good rugby as the Ospreys that's even more apparent.

Anyway, I'm a Leinster fan, I empathise with pretty-boy teams. :pac:

Its alright Joe, we support those pretty boy lady boy teams, its hard ;)

To be honest, and what bugs me most about supporters, is those who buy into the reputation crap around teams. Leinster are wusses. Ospreys are a tad limp wristed. Stade are a pack of homo's. Pack of ****e. Whats worse is people from those areas who buy into that kinda crap. Grow up, buy a pair, support a team who go out day in day out to play for your province/area/France:pac: and stop being a gigantic tit :p

Probably meanly put, but hell, every now and then on here I need a vent ;)

Connaught for my sins. Bloody tough to do but days like Munster and Leinster this year as well as a star studded Newcastle last year make it worth while (just about). I suppose the holy grail will always be to make it into the Heineken cup. Can't see happening any time soon though unfortunately.

Always like to see Munster doing well too. They play with such pride and passion, inspirational stuff and represent their provence and country really well.

I personnally cant understand the mentality of supporting a big rival when your own team get knocked out. Leinster fans were annoying enough when the won the ML, I dread to think what they would be like if they won the HEC, ugh. I dont to turn this is into an anti-leinster thread so I'll happily admit that Munster fan are just as annoying to be around when we win so why do you Leinster fans suport them when they get knocked out? I've seen a few Leinster fans in this thread say they'll support Munster in the event Leinster get knocked out, why? If any Munster fan plans on supporting Leinster I'd like to hear why aswell.

I certainly won't be supporting Munster against the Ospreys.

That says I do like to see other Irish teams do well. Why? Because generally it has a very favourably knock on effect for the Irish teams. Club success often translates to international success.
