Rest after a weights session?

    I always here people saying you need to make sure you get a decent nights sleep after a heavy weights session and I always make sure to get at least 7 hours usualy 8 or 8 and a half but I always wondered do you need more sleep after a weights day?

    Go by how you feel. If you struggle to wake up and get out of bed the morning after weights, then yes, an earlier bed time is a good idea. If you can bounce out of bed (ok, hobble quickly) then no, you are stick with your normal bedtime.

    Hmm, does anyone bounce out of bed the morning after a legs workout?

    Sometimes. But then my legs hit the floor and I bounce off that too!
