Dialect study ideas/help needed

    Hello,

I'm an English language graduate, with particular interest in phonetics, accents, dialects etc.

I'm moving to Cork next week and would like to conduct a dialect study to keep my brain going (as I'll probably end up working somewhere poo with the current climate)!

Does anyone have any ideas for a good meaty study for the area of Cork?

Also would anyone be interested in working with me on it-then maybe we can get it published when complete. (More a hobby study then an intense hard work no pay study!).

I look forward to hearing from you,

    *rachel*
