how often can i train my forearms?

    Hi I need to strenghten my wrist and forearm muscles.
    How often can i train them ? Currently i'm doing them every second day with 3 sets of 5 with heavy weight.
    reverse wrist curls
    wrist curls
    wrist roller

    I'd say every second day. Are you trying to improve your grip (for deadlifts maybe) or trying to make your forearms bigger?

    Some say you can train them everyday, since they are a small muscle group, I think you can work calves everyday too.
    How often to do you deadlift?
    You still have to answer this.

    I forget the reason but I think you might need time off before or after deadlifting.

    I use grippers probably 6 days a week just because they are fun & handy. Pull/chinups will work your grip too.

    Lately I have been doing weighted chinups, and then finishing the set with 4 pullup negatives, I find pullup negatives easier on the wrists. (pullup is palms away from you).

    i used to do forearm curls and stuff but i found heavy benching,deadlifting and squatting keeps my forearms jkust as big

    dont compromise your big lifts doing forearm training everyday

    i would do the forearm training after the major lifts if you have time/energy

    exactly -the bread and butter exercises should be enough

    forearm/bicep curls are like decorations on a christmas tree

    firstu need a tree to put them on

    Deadlifting will do sweet FA for your wrist strength tbh....

    Reverse curls however...

    Hey OP,

    I'm a climber, and I train my grip mostly with pull ups and chin-ups, hanging from a ledge as opposed to a bar if possible. Hang closer to the fingertip the stronger you get....

    I find using grippers can work, but I become bored with them and lose patience. Pull ups are more task orientated.

    Also, you can try hanging from a bar or ledge as long as you can. After you warm your hands up!

    I can do fingertip pullups on some doorframes with big enough ledges.

    I also made a version of these from webbing.

    You can also work in the opposite way, have your palm facing the floor and lift weights.
