I have to admit to being a hardened sceptic. I have never trusted a politician. However, I just believe in Barack, you can tell he really cares.

It's more than charisma. He's like no other politician before him; if the world had a few more of him we'd be so much better off.

Pitty most people won't really get it until he is gone.

Saying I'll have my people talk to your people doesn't really make him amazing.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,257 ✭✭✭SoupyNorman

Its great to see anything other then his predecessor in office (I would have liked an inanimate carbon rod to take office more then Obama)

However Obama can sometimes sound repetitive "look after the little guy on main street".

But presidents just spew out the policy, all the cogs are turned in the backround.

Hahaha the aul one in the white in the background eerily mouthing "I love you Barack" at him. She's dying to be the milk to his coffee.

No, but if this was to happen to bush, or clinton, what you think would happen? More than likely nothing...

Yea because socialism makes you a bad president, because prtectionism makes him a bad president, why would he care if it effects the Irish economy. His priority is the American economy. He shouldn't have any other in mind. Not at the moment. Protectionism is not such a bad thing. Well it is for us. He's president of one country, not the world.

He's president of one country, not the world.

But but but he's leader of the "free world" isn't he? His US protectionist policies may hurt the rest of the free world. Conflict of interest. He should resign the imaginary post imo.

*cough* Gordon Brown *cough* Hugo Chávez *cough* *cough*...

I don't see why people over here want to suck this guy's cock so much when his policies, albeit passively, are designed to further destabilise the Irish economy.

He's shown himself to be less than compitent in the selection of his Secretaries. He has everything to prove and nothing to show => no way in hell you can call him a good president. He seems also to have completely missed the point on the economy to date...

    Exactly.

The King/President/Ruler, has to always keep the people satisfied and make them believe that they need you. They have to promise all kinds of things, hope, change, etc...people will then listen and believe......its 15th century stuff, nothings changed.

They should stop giving that man air-time and air the real stuff. Like 200,000 losing their jobs in Spain in 3 weeks, 2 million workers without work in Columbia, Russian Rubel falling to an 11-year low, 20 million migrant workers in China lost their jobs, Iceland's entire goverment resigned after massive protests ( what we should be doing right now ) and protests around the world.

Because others were bad he is definately going to be? Nonsence. Give him a chance. He has more of a brain than bush, at the very least. He's not in office that long, give him a while, yea? People are too quick to jump to conclusions. Wait and see what the story is at the very least.

The greatest tragedy of Barak Obama is that people can't understand how a man with a decent heart and some genuine empathy can become the US President. It's a sad reflection, not on him but on the rest of us. If it takes so long for someone like him to come on the scene, it can only be bacause we have all allowed wasters to come before him...

Ok so there was some politicing from them. That's to be expected from the Opposition. There was also a hell of a lot of lefty crap stuck in their by Pelosi et al which had little to do with economic stimulus and more to do with social engineering. He had to row back on some of that junk or he'd be walking into exactly the same trap Clinton did in '92.

    What change?

More wars, because thats the only thing they are good at.They dont make anything or do anything worth a **** anymore and all you hear from Obama, is more money, we need more money. For what I dont know, because its all jibberish bull**** I am hearing from him.Seriously its all finacial stimulus, need credit flowing again, real simple talk.

Like what are these radical changes?

People are getting ****ed and if he did introduce that foreign trade plan it would more than likely **** ous, them and alot of the world up.

    JFK ?

Anyways, a drunk Aids infected monkey throwing feces at people would have been better then his predecessor.

Any chance we could replace Brian with a cow or maybe we could get Mugabe to run for office here ?
