sweet, I eat a lot of soft boiled eggs with brown toast. mmmm.

And to follow; a question - does anyone know how much more/less healthy than chicken eggs, duck eggs are? they are SO much tastier, but that makes me think they're bad for you.. I'd eat 2 of those a day, whenever I can get my hands on them.. mmmmm

Most people with high cholesterol dont get it from dietary cholesterol intake but more from just eating too much calories and not exercising enough, Eggs are fine but like all food-in moderation..

its about time this myth is been abolished!

1 of my clients father wont let her eat more than 3 eggs a week because he thinks there bad for her, but has no problem letting her eat chips!

I agree but a small number of people have a significant reaction to eggs. I.E. their chloresterol is increased by taking them. I think the percentage of people affected is quite low so most people shouldn't concern themselves.

I read a couple of days ago that the only study to show that eggs raised cholesterol was done by Kelloggs in the 70's, before they differentiated between the 2 types of cholesterol.

A breakfast cereal company says you shouldn't eat eggs for breakfast, shocking hah?

Yeah... Uncooked they're frozen oven chips esentially covered in a layer of fat :P Cooked they're wonderful!

Far from ideal if you're watching your weight but they go well with steak :D

    I'm not surprised.

I'd bet any money the (probably true) study which says people who eat breakfast lose weight was sponsored by Kellogs as well.

Interesting conclusion there. Basically showing additional egg consumption rasises HDL (good) but not LDL (bad) cholesterol.
