Conned out of money

Cut long story short, someone conned me out of 5000 euro last year. No chance of getting it back. Can't go to police. (Its not drugs or anything but dont want to discuss it)

Tried to forget about it but as I see this guy around, I cant forget this.

How do I get revenge ?

I want satisfaction from doing something to him.

Good idea. Start a thread about something you can't talk about. I refuse to help until you spill the beans

You'll need to tell us how he conned you, so we can give you appropriate revenge. I dont think anyone should help you until you say what happened!

Does he have a car? Set fire to it.

OP: Any relation to John Rempel?

Well, let's be honest here. You got taken for a ride to tune of 5000 euro and there is nothing you can do about it really. This implies the guy in question is smarter and more savvy than you. As a sign of respect you should tip your hat to him and just admit defeat and move into a sphere of revenge that doesn't involve going intellect to intellect, as history would imply you will lose.

I would suggest a dark alley and sledgehammer.

    But that's just me.

You see, if you tell people roughly how you were "conned" out of 5000 then people might be able to help you out but because you won't tell you will onyl get people requesting to know what happened.

Post a thread on in AH about him, then post on the Martial Arts forum for a deadly technique to apply to his throat - then post here again.

Here is the perfect way to win back your €5000....

First, you will need his home address and the help of a few friends
<content removed until OP explains in full>
and after a few days, hey presto, the money will be back in your account, and he will be unable to touch it!!

    Genius, eh?

Take comfort from the fact that you'll probably never fall for that particular con again.

Remember, most cons work because greed blinds peoples' judgement.

Maybe I can help. I know all about these kind of things.

Why just last year for example I conned this guy out of 5,000 euro and there's nothing he can do about it!

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 4,193 ✭✭✭Turd Ferguson

OP: dont be afraid to tell us what happened. Even if its the stupidest thing (e.g- he said 'can I have 5000euro and never pay back')
But you need to tell us....or at least PM me and I'll help :D

I'm guessing a stockbroker told him to invest in shares as the market cant "really" go any lower. If its something like that then there should be no revenge. Live and learn.

A friend introduced me, he was a business man. Was setting up a deal and offered to let me in on it, my mate also paid 5000 grand but my "SO CALLED MATE" was in on the con. A few others got conned also.

It all seemed legit and I trusted him as my mate of 18 years was in on the deal also.

Now I simply want to annoy this guy and make things uncomfortable for a while.

By the way, Im Irish but living in mainland europe

Allot of people are about to tell you how stupid a move that was.....

Shoot the friend in the goolies.

I take it the the deal was shady seeing as you can't go to the police. I'd be livid if someone stole €5000 off me. There's little I wouldn't do to them.

Most people get conned because of greed. Were you being greedy?

I'll second this one - just watch the Pantera live dvd's - there's a hilarious part in one where Dimebag Darrell is OFF his face on whiskey, and takes a sledge hammer to some dudes car at about 5 in the morning as the suns starting to come up.. he's so locked he can barely lift the thing..

At the end he drunkenly mutters "muh fuhkka won't pay me back the 10 grand he owes me? well I got my moneys worth.."

cant go to the police as he called the cops on me first for threatening him after he conned me. You see he is smarter than me ! Police dont believe me, damn german police.

No i was not being greedy, I was doing it to help out my mate who was in on the con, who is now living in Austrailia

I say get his details and send them to as many spammers as possible, then possibly post up ads offering the free loving with his number on it.

That or rat him out to the police..

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 470 ✭✭Craft25

1.Hire a hooker to ride him, video/photograph it & blackmail him for the money back.. works better if he would go for a male hooker

2.or follow him & try get some dirt on him

    3. do you know of any reasons why the tax man might want to see him?

PS. I wouldn't be keeping quiet about that for reasons of shame, you knew him 18yrs so your decision seemed reasonamble.. i would tell every tom dick and harry that he is scum and let it follow him around in life

I have a way you can get the money back...

Just post €2000 to the following address...

    3rd Floor,
    Sucker Tower,
    Retard Street (off Tool Road)
    Nigeria.

I will then use this money to release your funds back into your bank account, including the €2000. This is all very legit as my uncle is the CEO of the Bank of Dingmalone.

    Please hurry.

whenever you talk to him in future, use your fingers to make air quotes for everything.

Every time you are telling a story, start every line with "so I turned around and said".

both of those annoy the sh1t out of me. God Speed OP.

You can still call the cops, Interpol can sort out your mate in Australia too.

So was it a tad illegal?

    Have you tried the A-Team?
What you could do is go to the Irish Embassy and tell them what happened. If what you did was illegal then you can plead ignorance. You should be able to get him back.
If you really want to annoy him get his phone number from the phone book and post it on loads of advertising sites. Did that to a friend before (posted his number in the buy and sell advertising cheap tractors/stereos/fridges/TV's etc). We did about 10 ads and he was getting non-stop calls for weeks. Had to change his number :D
You could also just order taxi's and pizzas and stuff to his house on a regular basis. Maybe a horses head in his bed?
    If all else fails...MURDER!!!!!!

Wasnt illegal at all. Unless setting up a bar is illegal in germany ?

I wasnt involved in any con. Im just guilty of trusting a mate of 18 years on a business deal

I have a pretty good method of getting your money back from him if you are interested.

All I need is €5000 once off payment for private eye or something. I'll also need you to PM me your bank account details, and I will respond with a PO box that you can send the cheque to.

    Waiting for your PM.

    good luck to you:rolleyes:

he said he was doing it to help out his "mate". His "mate" was in on the con, not him.

Only thing you can do at this stage is take it on the chin, your name is already noted by the German police, from what you've written I would guess anything you decide to do as an act of revenge will backfire badly on you and you'll just end up in trouble, and probably paying damages to the guy.

Move on, lesson learnt, and maybe use a little more judgement on who are your friends. You've known the guy for 18 years and in all that time have never seen a shady side to him? Find that hard to believe, warnings of dodgy character are generally there if you have your eyes open.

<if it's not illegal, why not go to the cops? >

told you, he rang the cops on me, they came to me and told me to stay away from him. I filed a seperate complaint against him but they more or less laughed at me.

Suggestions please, no more talk about cops
