Good: Tears for Fears - Mad World.

Bad: Gary Jules - Mad World.

    Good: Jeff Buckley - Hallelujah.

Bad: Generic pop person - Hallelujah.

    Etc.

Ye, 'Closer' for instance. Also recommend 'Pornography' by 'The Cure' and my all time depression favourite the 'No Songs Tomorrow' EP by 'UV Pop'.

Christ, try 'Faith'. Its practically constructed from the essence of depression.

I'd say anything from the 80's if you want to feel better or Coldplay because their music can be uplifting/melancholy depending on how you yourself feel when listening to them.

If i'm upset I like to think about my husband so the song "It had to be you" cheers me up.

Another song that cheers me up is "The universe song" as it makes me laugh, as does "The lumberjack song".

I suppose that when I am sad I like to be transported back to when I felt safe and loved and the above do that for me...not everyones cup of tea I know.

When I'm sad I like to listen to Puff the Magic Dragon 'cos for some reason it puts me in mind for a tug, which cheers me up.

Some afroman always puts me on the right track...

Feel good music with Oh-so soul full guitar solo's....

Very under-rated and cheers me up all the time...

either that or some heavy rock like thin lizzy or kill switch engage. :)
