Hello. Trying to look at ways to vary/improve my routines

was in the club's gym the other day and a fella i don't really know was doing a weights circuit - 30 secs on each station with 30 secs recovery (or something like that). I left him to do the session but observed what he was doing. He left before I could ask him if he thought the circuits were working for him.

anyway, was thinking of giving it a go.

has anyone got links on where i'd get more info, or advice on what exercises to include. How many stations etc

    Thanks in advance

Ok, it's not a machine circuit, but here's what I do in the gym when I want maximum results in the shortest time.

10 squats supersetted with 10 bench press, same bar for both.
10 deadlifts ss with 10 military press (different bar!)
10 stiffleg deadlifts ss with 10 bentover bb row (same bar)
10 lying triceps extension ss 10 pullovers (same bar or dumbbells)
    10 pull-ups (assisted) ss 10 dips
15 hyper-extensions on a swiss ball, roll forward, 15 press-ups with feet on ball.
    10 wood choppers, switch sides.

Do each superset two or three times.

If you can Olympic lift with a light weight, they are always a good addition. Just dont compromise on technique!

just stick a search into google for giant set , superset , circuit training etc. templates and adjust what comes out to your own needs/ goals.
