Coup D'etat anyone?

Hi everyone,

With everyone these days talking about protesting and sh1te that doesn't work anyone want to put together a coup?

I propose me being in charge of the interim government, until we get some good intellectuals who have the best interest of the country at heart.

I am not looking for a Bloodless coup, In fact the more politician blood the better.

I know this plan seems farfetched and like it's small, but I have a real good plan, I just need the numbers.

So, given protesting doesn't work, Politicians cannot be trusted, and the fact that we are in the sh1t.

I propose we take back what is ours.

I will call my new organisation, the Liberation And Nationalisation or Great Eire Republic.

the plan is in motion, and I we have 2 shotguns promised from a farmer in Cavan, and a Broken down Tractor.


So Who's with me?

Who said anything about voting.

Voting is a privilage to be earned, There will be no more public elections held in Ireland. People will be appointed to roles in government which provide enough money for comfortable living. but nothing too extravagant.

I can be persuaded to change the name. but I am gonna need some good people with me when I storm the Dail and "take care" of most of the Problems with this country.

I will also need an exceedingly good looking Male and Female pair to be the Head of state and his wife. That will inspire confidence in the government.

The real revolution we need is in the way we think about getting things done.
Out should go the under the table payments - out should go the perks when none are deserved - out should go the bank bonus payments while they have their hand out towards the government for funds - out should go the old mentality that we elect our representives because we knew their daddy/mammy and/or they put a light outside on my street!

Now I know, all that and more is not going to change in most cases but we have to start somewhere, and start a revolution in thinking how to stop abuses of our system!

Thats a revolution that would have my support in a flash!

And coup d'etat is when a part of the State (usually the army) seizes control of the rest. You mean a revolution or rebellion.

That's why I want to get rid of voting. Only pay Politicians a MAX of €100,000 a year, and that is for the man in charge, he gets no more. Expenses will be paid but only for the cheapest option for whatever was expended on. (ie your going to Brussels, pay yourself, we will give you back the fare that it would have cost to fly with Ryanair.)

Then we sort out the current Financial Crisis, Kill any murderer's or people who are in Jail for drugs crimes where they are suppliers. The Kiddie fiddlers are next.

Then Religion is outta this country, we are taking the Churches back too. or at very least they lose their tax exemption status.

as long as no more gardaí are armed and the ones presently armed like the SDU/ERU/NSU get proper firearms training and we dont murder jailed dealers who only supplied cannabis

yeah decriminalise and tax cannabis sensibly and ban the use of severe chemical treatment to boost growth etc (i dont even smoke it btw but it makes sense)

I agree with this. But after we are properly set up in government, Gardai are all getting proper firearms training, and at least 15% of the force will be Armed.

I will allow the Cannabis dealers to live, but I will also legalise Cannabis. Might as well make some money off of it.

fair enough can we also demand reparations from the english establishment?we can threaten to demolish temple bar(wel do that anyway once they agree) and refuse to let all our decent sports players sign up to british sports teams if they wont accept it
