Advice Please on exercises for the lower legs!

    Hi all, this is my first post on this section of the board! Wasn't sure where the best place to post this question would be so I'll try here! I was just wondering if anyone has advice on specific exercises for building up strength in the lower legs as mine seem to be particularly week! :rolleyes: I have just started kick boxing and I go horse-riding and the muscles in this part of the body are fairly important for both these activities while neither activity really caters for specific training on this area! I've been riding for a year and a half now and although I am confident in being able to control forward going horses, I'm a bit useless on lazy beginners horses as I can't make them go as my lower legs aren't strong enough to apply the amount of pressure needed! it's just embarrassing at this stage :o:P
