Was thinking of getting this & using it to replace my current whey protein has anyone on here used it before? Is it any use? Heard its a slow release protein so is it better not using this post workout & just sticking to a regular whey?

I think OPtimum nutrition is better. Their version of Cookies and Cream is nice too or alternatively Dymatize make quality protein. The butter toffee flavour is nice.

Yeah I'm a fan of syntha 6, it's the best tasting protein there is. After a while, you get sick (well I do) of that processed whey flavouring - with syntha 6, I can drink it easily with either milk or water. Both are equally as nice.

My understanding is that it's a combo of slow and quick releasing proteins, so you get your instant "hit" and then have a steady flow over the next few hours, generally I'll take protein with water straight after a workout because it's faster than milk at absorbing into your body, then before bed I'll take some with milk so it release's itself over night at a slower rate. Think I read about that in Mens Health so if someone wants to back me up or prove me wrong on that feel free.

As for Syntha 6, I've tried a few different brands / mixes and find it great never had any complaints, compared to other brands which either gave me flatulence or left me feeling bloated. Flavourwise I'd go with Vanilla (don't have a sweet tooth) love it post workout with a spoon of coffee thrown in.

Generally from my experience BSN tend to making quality product's.

    Sytna 6 is the shizzle!

just works out more pricey than most whey

I got it as I didnt wanna spend 45 euro on bulk whey that I couldnt drink cos the taste was so bad, but I found a nice alternative

I remember the guy in the Supp shop sayin S6 is made up of different proteins, as opposed to just whey, so you absorb more of it
