Dublin 15 forum beers - 8.30pm, Friday 20th February in the Crowne Plaza Hotel

We've been talking about having another forum beers since probably the day after the last one (Christmas 2007 for anyone who's wondering how they missed it), and now we've finally decided to get off our arses and organise one.

Since the last beers the forum really has taken on a real community feel to it, there are now quite a few regular posters willing to offer advice and opinions on everything from schools to breakfast rolls in Dublin 15. And of course there's also the little sub-community of posters in Barnwell who have been assisting each other over the past year or so on their thread. It really would be great to meet everyone and put faces to the names.

To keep things simple we've already chosen a date and venue, so all we're looking for is numbers. Obviously if it looks like it's only going to be deswalsh and myself there we'll look at rescheduling, but hopefully that won't be necessary. So, the details:

Date: Friday 20th February
Venue: The bar of the new Crowne Plaza hotel beside Blanchardstown Town Centre
Time: From 8:30

We chose this venue because a number of people have said here it was a decent spot and would suit a forum beers, and it also should be relatively easy to get to no matter where you live in the area.

So please let us know if you can or can't come along, but hopefully it won't be the latter and we'll see you on the 20th.

Cheers to Zaph for pointing me in this direction (I've been reading the forum, just not the stickies. Bad mod!).

I'm heading to Denmark to watch my beloved City in the Uefa Cup but I get back early evening on the 20th so might be able to pop up for an hour or so.

I'll stick myself down as a maybe for now.
