So many fine moments except the retarded decision not to get on the raptor at the end.

Mad that racetrack and crew were willing to kill lee.

after last weeks episode of building the story, this episode hit it at full throttle

I didn't think it would ramp up so quickly, so it all bodes well for the rest of the series

couldnt tell you. probably from some show i never watched. but he's not listed on imdb's page for the episode (and incidently, google now marks imdb as malicious, which is odd)

I bloody hope so! What an episode!!! I have to say the old man sporting a rifle and a hand gun looked so cool

Also on a side not saw a esp of Star Gate SG1 last night with a younger geata in it where he was on the right side of yet another uprising

Yeh, he was the original Pegasus CAG who Starbuck didnt hit it off with.

Great episode. And some more great stuff from Gaeta - am completely sympathetic to his reasons.

Glad we have wig-Prez back. Bald-Prez was doing me head in. Complete change of personality.

Great episode. Really fast paced and I could tell it was heading for a "to be continued".

Loved Starbuck jsut killing without mercy,nearly shooting that marine in the back until Adama stopped her. He actually shot that other marine between the eyes himself.

I hope when its all over they put Gaeta and Zarek on their knees and put a bullet in the back of their heads. That would be a satisfying scene.

Keep an eye on the survivor count in the starting line up,see how much it drops after this and the next episode!

the prez "I AM COMING TO GET YOU ALL!!!!" the wrath of a women scorned and all that. It looked like they blew Adama out the air lock but i am sure something happens to stop it!

I am 50/50 as to who i agree with for the future of the fleet, which i would think is the opinion of a lot. Extermination of a race is a hard thing to forgive!

If they have killed Tigh, I'll be coming for all of them too. Awesome episode, just brilliant. Some bits were a bit weird, I didn't buy the hatred of Lee by the rebels and teonly thing that saved Helo's harsh treatment from being OTT in my book was the fact it was the old Pegasus rapists who came for him.

Jeez Starbuck reallytakes no guff, we should do a list of the main people who have turned rebel. So far it seems to be nearly everyone, did I hear that Hotdog was being sent out to gun down the prez'z Raptor at the end?

Seriously it seems like nearly everyone has mutinied.

Brilliant tho, up there with Pegasus, LDYB etc.

But if Hotdog was down there then surely he has turned? I mean they wouldn't have said he was down there if he was a prisoner since Gayta was looking for a pilot.

Perhaps...but the way they are acting towards the 4 of the final 5 is different. They had nothing to do with the attacks on the colonies. They fought against the cylons,Tigh killed his wife (if she is really dead!). Sure they can be used as scape goats but even the way Lee was going at Saul. He had nothing to do with anything that the cylons did. Just another reason I never liked Lee.

If the Mods spell that out then fair enough but I am not bending over backwards for hypochondriacs who get bent out of shape over 15 secs of footage which doesn't really give anything away, at least not if you have half a brain. How many spoilers can there actually be in an official trailer would be my main gripe.

I can only sympathize with the mutineers to a point. I mean without the Cylon tech, the human race will have to pray it finds a food/water/energy source or home in time. Some of the hate towards the crew Cylons is tough as well, but easier to imagine I guess if we can say that alot of the ship's crew don't get to see them very often so haven't quite 'got over' the revelation to the same extent the senior crew have. Hard to believe it was only 3 episodes ago.

Athena is in the brig, isn't she? So was it just some random 8 from the basestar?

Have to admit I find the various 8's confusing, the 6's are differentiated better.

I thought it was Athena too but of course she is in the Brig. She was in a Colonial Pilot Uniform. Did Gaeta ever get around to talking to Adama about the events of 'Face of the Enemy'? Some kind of scene showing Adama dismissing all his worries out of hand would have given more legitimacy to his actions.

Stun or flash grenade...all of these are long cyclindrical shaped whereas most grenades are oval shaped.
Great episode though...hope they don't rush through it though and neglect parts of it.

I watch in the US, legally. And that 15 seconds gets fed to me at the roll of credits. You dont HAVE to click Play on the youtube video.

The character is Narcho - the Viper pilot assigned the mission of destroying the Raptor.

Obviously Hot Dog is going to get Narcho first.

The actor appeared in Stargate briefly and had the lead role as Cade Foster in First Wave some years ago.

Just watched it again - absolutely amazing episode. I haven't been this excited about a forthcoming episode since the stand off between Galactica and Pegasus.

The way Gaeta played all the staff in the CIC was excellent. Ultimately Zarek played him and at the second time of viewing I got the impression that the marines who opened fire on Tigh and Adama were acting on instruction from Zarek which is why he was so disappointed to hear Adama was still alive.

A lot of the mutineers seem to be out to settle old scores : Pegasus vs Galactica. That was certainly the case when Lee Adama was confronted in the hangar bay and also when the rapist crew went after Helo and his wife. Interesting that Hoshi wasn't aware of the mutiny, and judging by what Gaeta said to him at the end of the "The Face of the Enemy" series it would seem Gaeta was plotting the mutiny for a while.

Starbuck going all Lara Croft was a welcome sight and Laura back to her old self is a good thing also. Adama and Tigh were just short a couple of cigars to complete the gun toting Tony Montana look.

No you don't have to click it but there was discussion about that promo afterwards,which is different. Promos for future episodes and discussion about those episodes should be kept for a seperate thread.

The setting in the Cargo Bay was perfect I thought. It felt like it was pulled right out of Half Life or something. Naturally it felt anti-climatic for them to throw a flashbang in :rolleyes:

Fantastic episode - definitely made up for the slowness of last week and wasted no time bringing things to a head. I wonder what the allied Cylons will do in all of this: on the one hand, they can't really stand idly by while members of the final five are been held captive but on the other hand, if they intervene, would that not polarize the fleet even further towards Zerik's/Gaeta's views against the alliance?

And where's Tory? The mutineers obviously went after Sam and Tigh, Tyroll is hiding from them but what about her? It seems they would want to capture the 4 ASAP...

Thanks, I'd forgotten that but it rings a bell - I think that's what happened as she was the one to embrace that she's a Cylon more than the others...
